Lowell Ayars, known affectionately as "The Singing Organist,"
plays five instruments including his own residence organ in this lively CD retrospective. Ayars' residence organist was given to Brantley A. Duddy in Ayars will and was originally chosen for the Smithsonian Institution before being installed in Greek Hall at Macy's in the Philadelphia's John Wanamaker Building. The II/8 Wurlitzer was originally placed in the Fox Theatre in Appleton, Wisconsin.
